A hard-freeze line break puts clean water into a lower level over a few hours, and everything the water did not reach stays dry. That job has an edge to it: find the wet boundary, extract, dry, rebuild. A long thaw or a wet spring is open-ended instead. Most of the prevention that works here is seasonal rather than clever. Before the thaw, test the sump pump under load and consider a battery backup, since pumps fail on the day they are needed most. Keep the discharge line clear of the foundation and check that grade still falls away from the house after a few seasons of settling.
