Bought a very small, older home in the village and almost right away started having problems with slow drains and gurgling sounds. I knew I needed help when ... water started leaking from around the base of the toilet so before things got any worse I performed a simple google search for "Help my pipes are blocked up!" and called a few companies. Roto Rooter responded right away and Eric came to my house within hours ready to diagnose and fix my problem which turned out to be 30 plus years of sludge blocking my main line to the road. Rick Cashman provided us with excellent service when our residential water pipes froze and burst. He clearly communicated when he would be able to be at my home and ... worked efficiently when he was there. He also recommended a service to pump the water out of our basement.

Our hot water heater went on a Friday. Didn't know who to call since it was a weekend. Didn't realize we wouldn't have water. Called Rodar Rooter on Saturday morning ... and we made an appointment for Sunday morning. I love this company. We had our basement flood and our hot water heater stopped working after we got the water drained. So we purchased a hot water heater and we called to have ... it installed. A very nice man named Harry came and fixed our hot water heater and he was kind and curtious and got the job done. I was so happy to have it back on cause we had gone all weekend without hot water and u never know how much u need something until u don't have it. I was nearly in tears when he told me it was done cause I had been dealing with all kinds of stress do to the flooding in our basement. But to hear we had hot water again made me so happy. We had your company here yesterday. A very nice young man came to help us out with a sewer problem. His name is Jim. I just wanted ... his boss to know what a polite and nice man he was. He explained everything to us so we knew and understand what your company will do for us . He was out in the cold and rain for almost two hours and finally fixed our sewers line that we have been having problems with off and on since last October.had city come and another man come and they couldn't fix it. Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with your employee and your company..will recommend you to everyone and mostly cause of your employee that was so determined to fix this problem for us. Sean was on time courteous and professional. Explained options and described work in detail. Finished in about an hour. We had the main drain from house to city sewer cleared.

Had technician come to house as preventive measure since was having some issues with water leaving toilets. In past issues with tree roots in system caused back up and wanted ... to prevent this as well as prevent any future basement flooding. Sean was technician, arrived right on time. Was informative, cooperative and spent plenty of time running the "snake" to clear any roots and potential blockage from the drain...then used the water jet treatment to clean drain back to the house. I am very satisfied with the results. Was a little surprised by the pricing which had increase over $100 in a couple of years. Sean was professional, prompt, attentive to my concerns and completed the job, cleaned the area and explained maintenance to avoid any additional issues. This is the third time I have used Roto Rooter in Syracuse and have been happy with their promptness and work product each time.
