Friendly, quick and efficient.

We had a backed up main sewer line at our house. Our technician Vince arrived quickly and wasted no time getting to work on our problem. He was very thorough ... and explained everything in detail every step of the way. He also gave us a lot of information about proper care and maintenance for plumbing and pipes. His Grade A service was much appreciated and we will highly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone.

We found a water leak but couldn't see where it was coming from. When Anthony arrived he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and found a very small pinhole leak ... in one of the pipes, which was spraying on another area leading us to believe we had a major problem. The issue was fixed quickly and very well and Anthony gave us valuable information on what he was doing and what to look for in the future. I would highly recommend Anthony to anyone who needed not only professional work but a genuine person to help.

Kieran O'Reilly quickly cleared out a blocked basement floor-drain pipe and explained how the pipe circuits were likely arranged. He also gave me some good hints on pipe maintenance. All ... the work was done within an hour. Many thanks for the quick service!

Good service provided

When we returned from a 3 week vacation we were surprised to find our main shower clogged. An ordinary length of shower meant you were standing in 3 inches ... of water by the end! I tried the usual drain cleaners and snaking but to no avail. We have dealt with Roto-Rooter in the past so it was an easy call to make. The technician, Vincent, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He had the drain working in no time and then scoped our complete drainage system out to the District line. We also had a leaky valve in our boiler furnace and after investigating that he made some great suggestions for getting it fixed (i.e. including a photo of the old part to be replaced in any service request as this is a vintage model). We were very pleased with the service he provided and the recommendations he made.

Yesterday Kieran the service technician showed up to unplug my drainage pipes. I stayed with him through the whole process and was very impressed with his ability and informative description as ... to what he was doing. I was pleased with the work done by Vincent and his colleague. They were efficient and knowledgeable . I liked that when they came to asses the problem they provided ... us with quotes for few options and discussed with us what needs to be done for each option. They explained to us during each step what they are doing and showed us what materials we using for the repair. I am happy with the overall experience and the communication with the staff

I had contacted RotoRooter via the online form which had me select my "preferred" day and time for service. Once the form was sent a pop up window informed me that ... I would be contacted by email to confirm the appointment. I did not receive an email but did receive 2 calls on my cell, both asking me to call back. I did not call back so I did NOT confirm the appointment; the response time took more than a day and I had booked an appointment with a different company who's responded within an hour. You can imagine my surprise when a Roto Rooter van showed up for the appointment that I HAD NOT CONFIRMED. Fortunately, Jas was professional and a really nice guy so I decided to have him look at my plumbing problem since he was there already. Jas did a great job and I would recommend him without hesitation. it is a concern that Roto Rooter would send a technician out without having confirmed the appointment. I assume if I'd sent Jas away without having him do the work I would have recieved a bill for the call-out. Im hoping this is not common Roto Rooter practice - I'd like to be able to recommend Roto Rooter to friends and neighbours but at this point I would not. You are welcome to contact me if so desired.
