I had rented a 100ft long snake from Home Depot in order to clear out my storm sewer drain. The snake went down the pipe alright but but got stuck ... trying to get it out and despite numerous efforts i could not get it to budge. Eric Smith the Technician from Roto Rooter Hamilton came to my home to assist in removing the snake. Eric showed great ingenuity and very strong problem solving skills and came up with a cleaver and unique approach that after a few attempts finally the snake came loose from whatever was blocking it and we successfully removed the snake so that I was able to return the machine to Home Depot. I can not emphasis enough the thoughtful problem solving efforts Eric employed in order to fix the problem. On top of that he was extremely polite, courteous and professional and was a pleasure to have at our home helping us resolve this difficulty. Eric is a true asset to your firm and a key employee who is extremely talented and creative. He works very hard and is tenacious in his approach to getting the job done in a timely and efficient manner. It was a truly a delight having him here. I would not hesitate for a moment to highly recommend Eric to anyone with a plumbing issue. Should the need arise for other plumbing issues i would be quite pleased and comfortable specifically requesting Eric to help solve any future plumbing issue that I may have.

Andrew Eaton arrive within about 20 minutes of my call even though I said it was not an emergency. I had a clogged pool pipe that I couldn't clear ... using my snake. Andrew had the touch (the right equipment too) and the job was done in 15 minutes. He was pleasant and efficient and I highly recommend him

I have been using your services for water draining problems for some time, and on a recent service call...Andrew A # 55.. ... advised that there was damage to the main water drain ( due to age ) and the pipe would have to be replaced. Over the last two days...sept 8 and 9,.., Andrew and his crew repaired the problem. I am a 75 year old and Andrew kept me advised of what was happening along the way, as I think he realized I was a bit uptight about it all. Naturally I hope it will be some time before I will need a plumber again,, but it is nice knowing that your employees are there if needed. I was very impressed with the service I received, and how quickly I received it. I used the Online scheduler to book a plumber to figure out why our dishwasher ... wouldn't drain and we received feedback as quick as can be expected through that type of service and were given an appointment the same day. Eric was very friendly and talkative and polite, and seemed very passionate about his job, he got everything working great again and let us know about problems he saw unrelated to our issue that we may need to look at in the future. I will definitely call on Roto-Rooter (and most likely Eric) again for future plumbing needs.
