Longview's Go-To Plumbing Experts for Every Job, Big or Small
Roto-Rooter is the trusted plumbing company serving homeowners and businesses in Longview, TX. The expansive clay soil common throughout the Longview area shifts with moisture changes, putting constant stress on slab foundations and the pipes running beneath them - this movement can cause slab leaks, cracked pipes, and drainage problems that get worse over time. Longview's hot, humid summers and severe storm seasons also put extra strain on plumbing systems, increasing the risk of flooding, root intrusion from live oaks and pecan trees, and hard water mineral buildup in pipes and fixtures. Roto-Rooter's experienced plumbing technicians handle clogged drains, hidden leaks, and emergency pipe repairs. Call 903-753-4711 any time - Roto-Rooter is available 7 days a week.

Why are slab leaks so common in Longview, TX?
Longview sits on expansive clay soil that swells when wet and shrinks when dry, which is a cycle that repeats constantly through the region's humid summers and dry spells. This ongoing ground movement puts stress on the pipes embedded in slab foundations, eventually causing small cracks or separations that allow water to leak beneath your home. Signs of a slab leak include warm spots on the floor, unexplained increases in your water bill, or the sound of running water when no fixtures are in use. Roto-Rooter's experienced plumbing technicians can locate and repair slab leaks quickly - call 903-753-4711 to schedule an inspection.
Can tree roots really damage my plumbing in Longview?
Yes - live oaks and pecan trees are common throughout Longview, and their root systems are aggressive in seeking out moisture. Sewer lines and drain pipes are a prime target, and roots can infiltrate small cracks or joints and grow until they cause a full blockage or pipe collapse. If you notice slow drains, gurgling sounds, or sewage odors in your yard, tree root intrusion may be the cause. Roto-Rooter uses professional drain cleaning and pipe inspection equipment to clear root blockages and assess the condition of your pipes.
How does hard water affect plumbing in Longview?
Longview's water supply carries minerals that build up inside pipes, water heaters, and fixtures over time, reducing water flow and cutting down the efficiency and lifespan of your equipment. Mineral deposits can cause water heaters to work harder and fail sooner than expected, and they can restrict flow in supply lines throughout your home. Roto-Rooter's experienced plumbing technicians can assess the condition of your pipes and water heater and recommend the right solution.

Customer Reviews in Longview
On time as promised. Service tech David was very thorough in explanation of what he would do. He took time to explain everything he had seen and that we were ... in very good shape for the age of the house. He gave me recommendations of upkeep without trying to sell me something.
Initial service call basically diagnosed issue and provided a course of action: replace faucets in M-bath. We purchased faucets and scheduled service for Thursday 9/3/15. We received a call from ... Denise and were advised a need to re-schedule for Tuesday 9/8/15. By 10:00 a.m. Tuesday I had not been advised of ETA for service. I called and talked to Denise. Shortly after, Denise called back and advised ETA to be about noon. Service technician arrived about 3:30 p.m. I reviewed work to be done with technician Bill Knight. The project of replacing two bathroom sink faucets began and quickly became more difficult than expected. Bill began his diligent work and completed the installation very satisfactorily. We traded some good conversation and discussed the process with options. All went well. Bill is to be commended for his intensity, humor, quality of work and friendliness. Thanks, Bill!!!
The receptionist tha I spoke with was very pleasant, and Greg did a great job!!
