Why do drains clog so frequently in Staunton homes?
Staunton's older neighborhoods have aging sewer and drain infrastructure that is more prone to buildup and blockages over time. Tree root intrusion is also a common issue, as roots naturally seek out moisture and can work their way into pipe joints and cracks. Roto-Rooter's experienced plumbing technicians use professional-grade equipment to clear drains thoroughly and inspect pipes for underlying damage. Call 540-886-4954 to schedule drain cleaning service any time.
How does Staunton's clay soil affect my home's plumbing?
Piedmont clay soil expands when it absorbs water and contracts during dry periods, which causes the ground around your home to shift repeatedly throughout the year. This movement can stress underground pipes, cause joints to separate, and lead to slow leaks that go undetected for months. Homes built on crawl spaces or basements in Staunton are particularly vulnerable to these ground-movement issues. Roto-Rooter can inspect and repair damaged pipes before small problems become costly ones.

Customer Reviews in Staunton
My experience with Roto-Rooter was excellent. David was knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely thorough in settling my problem and explaining how to avoid it. I had never had such ... a efficient plumbing experience before and would certainly call them first in the future.
A great job of cleaning out my parents 70 feet long driveway drain on June 6th, 2016. Doug Campbell of Lexington,VA rotor rooter franchise and his technician Dave K. ... are the best. Especially with all the rains that hit last week, my parents who are in their 90's had no water into their garage & basement since rotor rooter cleaning done on June 6. I was visiting my parents when the storm of June 4th flooded the garage&basement as the drain was not working. I did an online appt on June 5th, took the earliest slot on Monday June 6th and got a call that morning @ 7am. They were over at 8:30am, Dave K. the tech did what he could do with the initial snake & recommended the power wash. I was in a dilemna as I need to get back to my home in northeast Ohio and they were back at 5pm and got the 70ft long piple totally cleaned out. Very professional and spelled out the issues as it was. No overselling of services but realistic as to what was needed to be done. These past 2 weeks with all the heavier rains in the Shenadoah Valley than June 4th had, the 3 inch diamater pipe going 70 ft long did its job. Please recognize Lexington Rotor Rooter for their services which I am sure is just a normal thing of what they do everyday. Chas Lauria on behalf of Frank Lauria 4 Barger Drive Lexington,VA.
